Meet the minds shaping data-driven growth at FourZeroNine.

Sasha Rabeno

Junior Data Engineer

Sasha is a data engineer who explores and creates custom applications, codebases, and tools for business’ specific data needs.

Throughout college and graduate school, Sasha nurtured an interest in novel applications of data science and large-scale algorithms, with particular focus on the humanities and social science. She performed research for several years examining the social effects of algorithms in use by social media companies, as well as exploring how AI agents can mediate interactions and respond to negative messages on social media platforms.

At Lehigh University, she received the prestigious Clare Booth Luce Research Scholar Award for this research, earning a combined Bachelor’s degree in computer science, the humanities, and data ethics. She recently completed her Master’s in Information Science at Cornell University, where she was a member of the Social Media Lab research group.

Today at FourZeroNine, Sasha plans and creates unique data solutions for individual businesses and their specific interfaces. Using her strong data application and programming background, she helps implement data pipelines, automated scripts, and other tools that transform a company’s data from disjointed and abstract to unified and navigable.

Outside of work, you’ll find Sasha hanging out with her cats, playing video games, or admiring her collection of houseplants.
